Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Combine the yellow cake mix, mashed sweet potato, sour cream, vegetable oil, eggs, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg in a large mixing bowl. Mix on medium speed for 2-3 minutes until smooth.
  3. Mix brown sugar and ground cinnamon in a separate bowl; set aside.
  4. Pour half of the batter into the greased baking pan, sprinkle the cinnamon-brown sugar mixture evenly over it, then pour the remaining batter on top and swirl gently with a knife.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
