  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese or substitute with Monterey Jack or American cheese
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Butter (softened) or oil as a lighter alternative

  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley for added color and freshness

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the ground beef. Cook for 7-9 minutes, breaking it apart with a spatula until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Lower the heat to medium and add salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to the beef. Stir well and cook for an additional minute.
  3. Butter one side of each slice of thick-cut bread generously with softened butter for a crispy texture.
  4. Assemble the sandwich with one slice of bread buttered-side down, layer on cheddar cheese, seasoned ground beef, and mozzarella cheese, then cap it with a second slice of bread buttered-side up.
  5. Cook the sandwich over medium heat for 3-4 minutes, pressing it down with a spatula, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes until golden and cheese is melted.
  6. Remove from skillet and let it rest for one minute before slicing in half and serving warm.
