  • 4 tablespoons Green Onions Sliced
For the Egg Mixture
  • 6 large Eggs Whisked
  • 1 cup Evaporated Milk Can substitute with almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper Adjust to taste

Method
 

Instructions for Farmer’s Casserole
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  2. Spread the thawed hash browns evenly across the bottom of the baking dish and press down gently.
  3. Layer the cooked ham over the hash browns, then sprinkle with cheddar cheese and top with the sliced green onions.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, evaporated milk, salt, and pepper until combined.
  5. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layered ingredients and press down gently.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
  7. Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing into squares and serving.
