  • 0.5 cup Parmesan Cheese optional, can use nutritional yeast
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil vegetable oil can be a substitute
For the Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Basil fresh or dried
  • 1 tbsp Oregano adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder or use fresh minced garlic
  • 0.5 tsp Red Pepper Flakes adjust for spice preference

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Gather ingredients for ease of cooking.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet, add Italian sausage, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in marinara sauce, basil, oregano, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Cook gnocchi according to package directions, then gently fold into the sausage and sauce mixture.
  5. Transfer to a baking dish if needed, cover with mozzarella and sprinkle Parmesan on top.
  6. Bake for about 20 minutes until cheese is melted and golden brown.
  7. Let the dish rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
